About our conferences
SEAA runs conferences every two years in different states of Australia. Papers and workshops are invited from social educators from the early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary education sectors as well as those interested and involved in promoting education and support to those interested in sustainable communities, active and informed citizenship, intercultural understanding and social justice.
Typically our conferences bring together teachers, tertiary educators, academics and government and non government groups interested in these areas.
Our conferences provide opportunities for keynote address, interactive workshops, presentations, refereed abstracts and double blind reviewed papers for academic colleagues, and the opportunity to publish both academic material and school and community–based themes and ideas.
